4. 3 Things I Love:
Since it says “things,” I’m avoiding listing people: 1) I love Bollywood movies because they are just absolutely ridiculous and have extremely catchy music numbers; 2) I love my job, even if it is incredibly stressful and demanding at times; and 3) I love snowy evenings where I can just curl up in a blanket and read without a care in the world.
6. Last Song I Listened to:
"Give Me Some Sunshine" from the "3 Idiots" soundtrack is the last song I listened to. I love it.
13. Something I Really, Really Want:
More than anything else, I want to travel and not have to be burdened with the responsibility of caring for people. I get really sick of saying, “Oh, sorry. I can’t do that today. I have to watch Dad” or “Mom’s sick today, so I need to make sure she rests.” I love my parents, but I have been roped into a situation from which I can never easily escape, just like my mom was roped into caring for my hateful grandmother for years upon years. I am aware that this makes me sound like a brat, but NO ONE has the right to judge me for my opinion on this until they have lived in my shoes for several years and experienced what I have. I hear everyone’s stories about the vacations they are planning or the places they have been, and all I can do is smile, nod, and listen to conversations to which I am unable to relate. So—I really, really want to travel and experience things for myself instead of second-hand.
38. My Future Goals:
My goals are as follows: make money, repair my house, take care of my family and dogs, and pay my bills on time. My future sounds a bit bleak when I list my goals as such, but it’s the truth.
Anything else? Here’s the list of questions.

omg they are so offended if you lick them back.
Fun fact! Dogs lick the mouths of those they consider higher in rank! So if you lick them back, they are not offended, they just don’t see themselves as higher than you and they are confused! The second dog must be a very loyal dog because he or she literally refuses to be licked back haha! I love dogs.
i started reading that expecting an angry rant and it turned out to be one of the nicest things ever.
I have reblogged this like ten times
someone mentioned april fools today, and it reminded me that last year a couple of radio DJs got taken off the air and almost faced felony charges because they told their audience that the local water supply was contaminated with “Dihydrogen Monoxide” and alot of people panicked
Dihydrogen - (two hydrogen)
Monoxide - (one oxygen)
some guys almost got arrested for telling people there was water in their taps.
It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking..
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room’s only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end.
They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation..
Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.
Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind’s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days, weeks and months passed.
One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.
It faced a blank wall.
The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said, ‘Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.’
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can’t buy.
